Four-wheel scooters are typically heavier, and intended for use on rougher terrain like gravel or grass. The tiller in this case is connected through a linkage system to two front wheels which turn in the same manner as a car when you steer. Some four-wheel scooters come with larger wheels for greater ground clearance, or might be equipped with more powerful batteries.
