Electric Transportable Wheelchairs
The folding, transportable electric wheelchair folds down or collapses for easy transportation. Transportable wheelchairs can fit into the trunks of most cars although they still tend to be a bit heavy for some people to lift in and out of a trunk. Unlike powerbase wheelchairs, transportable wheelchairs have the conventional or traditional design to them - 20-inch rear wheels, 8-inch front caster wheelss and cross braces under the seat. Since these wheelchairs lie on their side, they can be transported in vehicles with tie-downs.
